Big Lake Country Club’s Group Home provides 24-hour assistance to developmentally delayed and/or emotionally challenged single adult males seeking a life style of independent living but requiring daily support, monitoring, and supervision by others to ensure long term success. Our group homes feature:
- A safe, caring, and fostering environment where personal growth and development are of primary importance
- Three nutritious meals a day, plus snacks
- Local phone and television service and Internet Services
- Assistance with daily living skills and instrumental activities including hygiene, laundry and housekeeping, physical exercise, supervision of self-medication administration, nutrition and food preparation, personal and social interactions skills, etc.
Family oriented activities such as evening dinners, picnics, barbecues, celebration of personal events (birthdays, etc), celebration of client related holidays, etc. - Comfortable furnishings and living space
- Care coordination and progress documentation provided for case managers, guardians, family members, and health care specialists.
- Assistance in obtaining employment, transportation, or other personalized needs.
- We also provide an excellent staff base that takes clients into the community for Day Habilitation Services.
